Still involving plastic and concrete casting, I am trying to experiment on a smaller scale. Also, I have being doing more soft sculpture work, such as sewing The large piece shown in my last post has hit a small snag and I need to recast the concrete elements, it is more work but I think it is for the best in regard to making the work more credible.
My semester is ending in two weeks so now I am really feeling the pressure to make quickly and to get everything that I need to done. STRESS. But I still feel incredibly lucky to be able to be in a place in my life where I can do what I love every day.
(below is the concrete piece that I need to recast, the concrete looks as if it is piercing (not squishing) the fabric and plasic, which was not my goal).

This is my studio wall, they drawings are from a performance piece I did with artist's Abiose Spriggs and Kyung Tea Kim.

Below is another wall in my studio that shows color and fabric samples of things I am currently working with, also a rug that I am making!

Below is a plastic carving I was working on last week.

below are my cement cast girls and a few other castings I have been playing with.

The big piece disasembled..

This is the first of 31 cunt pillows I am making by hand.
